Résumé
Projet API n°137 EBA : Evolution and Biodiversity in the Antarctic : the response of life to change
Le programme EBA du SCAR s'intéressera aux impacts du changement climatique sur la biodiversité des espèces et les adaptations évolutives et à la déplétion des pêcheries marines sur les dynamiques des communautés de l'océan Austral. Une meilleure compréhension des effets de tels changements sera obtenue par l'étude des réponses d'acclimatation dans les hautes latitudes. Elle contribuera à développer une compréhension de base des écosystèmes sensibles.

Abstract
IPY n°137 EBA : Evolution and Biodiversity in the Antarctic : the response of life to change
The SCAR-programme EBA (2004-13) will address the impacts of climate change on species biodiversity, evolutionary adaptations and depletion of marine fisheries on community dynamics in the Southern Ocean. A better understanding of the effect of such changes will be obtained by investigating the acclimatory responses to high latitudes. It will contribute to development of a baseline understanding of sensitive ecosystems.
